Project Development Manager
Wind Farm - Scotland
We are searching for an experienced Project Manager (Renewable Energy - Wind) at their Glasgow office for our client; a supportive, engaged and progressive Developer.
Reporting to the Head of Planning based in Glasgow, the successful individual will be responsible for the project management of the development and planning process. An understanding of bringing renewable projects from concept through the planning and project programming process is essential.
Main undertakings include;

Project management of the wind farm design, development and planning process (including appeals)

Knowledge of the wind farm industry, ideally working as a wind farm developer
-
Negotiation of landowner and third party agreements
-
Knowledge of grid connection alternatives
-
Engaging and managing outsourced resources including EIA consultancies
-
Maintaining all key relationships with third party stakeholders and organisations
-
To a lesser extent working with some project financing and development budgeting
This is a broad project management role, and the right individual will come from a background in which they have performed a pivotal role in managing difficult externally facing relationships in contentious public domain projects and public engagements.
Product Development Engineer
Manchester, UK
Working with a formidable force in the world of temporary works we're looking for a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer who can take product ideas and turn them into reality with concepts in which our client may patent.
You should be spatially aware as a lot of their development have space constraints and be confident in your own calculations for development is also very important.
As this role is working with a temporary works provider, knowledge of formwork, falsework, propping, needling or shoring would be highly adventitious.

Welding.

Hydraulics although not essential.

PROJECT MANAGER - HOTEL
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to successfully deliver a 5 star hotel construction project in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and client while successfully directing the site team. You will work closely with the owner of the project and fulfill an integral role on the project.

Requirements:
· Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
· A successful track record with contractors, consultants or developers
· Hotel project experience
· A degree in a construction related field.
· International experience ( ideally some experience gained in Africa)

PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Bedfordshire
Our client is one of the UK’s leading RC Frame contractors. They carry out work in various sectors including commercial and residential. Due to a number of recent contract awards, our client currently has a vacancy for a Project QS to work on a £12m RC frame contract in Luton. This contract runs until the end of the year and future work will most likely be in the London area.
Ideally, our client is interested in hearing from candidates who have previous experience of working for concrete frame sub-contractors and have worked in a similar role.
