Project Development Manager
Wind Farm - Scotland
We are searching for an experienced Project Manager (Renewable Energy - Wind) at their Glasgow office for our client; a supportive, engaged and progressive Developer.
Reporting to the Head of Planning based in Glasgow, the successful individual will be responsible for the project management of the development and planning process. An understanding of bringing renewable projects from concept through the planning and project programming process is essential.
Main undertakings include;
Project management of the wind farm design, development and planning process (including appeals)
Knowledge of the wind farm industry, ideally working as a wind farm developer
Negotiation of landowner and third party agreements
Knowledge of grid connection alternatives
Engaging and managing outsourced resources including EIA consultancies
Maintaining all key relationships with third party stakeholders and organisations
To a lesser extent working with some project financing and development budgeting
This is a broad project management role, and the right individual will come from a background in which they have performed a pivotal role in managing difficult externally facing relationships in contentious public domain projects and public engagements.
Product Development Engineer
Working with a formidable force in the world of temporary works we're looking for a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer who can take product ideas and turn them into reality with concepts in which our client may patent.
You should be spatially aware as a lot of their development have space constraints and be confident in your own calculations for development is also very important.
As this role is working with a temporary works provider, knowledge of formwork, falsework, propping, needling or shoring would be highly adventitious.
We need someone with knowledge of
Manufacturing techniques for steel and Aluminium.
Hydraulics although not essential.
Electrics although again not essential.
Quality approvals and systems.
Generally good all-round knowledge of mechanical engineering.

SITE / SENIOR ENGINEERS
East of England
Site Engineers and Senior Engineers required by a leading civil engineering contractor. Our client is a £400M turnover civil engineering contractor. It operates nationally and undertakes a wide range of civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, water, environmental, energy and marine.
Due to a significant number of contract awards, our client is recruiting site engineers and senior engineers for a number of major civil engineering schemes in East Anglia (Norfolk and Suffolk).
These are excellent opportunities to work with a national contractor, involved on high profile schemes in the East of England. Candidates should be qualified with a degree or diploma in civil engineering and have experience gained with a civil engineering contractor. SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Our client is a leading RC frame contractor with operations throughout London and the Home Counties.
They successfully deliver contracts valued from £500,000 to over £30M. Projects include large scale groundwork packages and RC frames for commercial and residential developments.
They currently have a vacancy for a senior quantity surveyor to work on a high rise residential development in central London. Ideally, they are looking to hear from candidates who have previous quantity surveying experience on RC frame projects, from either a specialist sub-contracting or main contracting background.
